Stopping Animal Abusers On Craigslist

Dear Friends,

Thanks so much for signing the petition asking Craigslist to stop animal abusers on its site. Hundreds of animals are being sold on Craigslist, often ending up in homes where they suffer abuse and neglect.

That's why we're trying to collect as many signatures as possible to send to Craigslist's CEO to stop the sale of live animals on the site.

Hundreds of animals are being sold on Craigslist, often ending up in homes where they suffer abuse and neglect. Selling animals online is against Craigslist's Terms of Service, but little is done to enforce this policy.

These sellers have no idea about the environment their pet could go into. Some animals are taken and used for dog fighting and for testing in research facilities; others end up in homes with owners who enjoy torturing and killing animals.
