It is with deep sadness that I let you know about 5-year-old Artiom

Dear Friend

It is with deep sadness that I let you know about 5-year-old  Artiom, who passed away in Gomel yesterday. Artiom was part of our Gomel Hospice Programme and suffered from brain damage since birth. Artiom was confined to bed and had a tracheotomy, he joined our hospice programme in 2010, which allowed his parents to bring him home.

Throughout his illness Artiom was supported by the CCI hospice team and his loving parents and younger sister. They are in our thoughts at this sad time.

 

Thank you for helping to give Artiom dignity in his death through our Hospice Programme.
